You send a physical part. You get back a 3D file. Pick the tier by what you need to do with that file. If you’re not sure, describe the job and the quote will recommend one.

  1. 01STL · OBJ

    Scan

A cleaned-up mesh of the part, with holes filled and noise removed.

    • 3D scan of the part
    • Mesh cleanup and hole filling
    • Scaled to real size
    • STL and OBJ files
    Good for
Reference geometry, visualization, and designing new parts that fit around it.
    Not for
Editing dimensions or sending to a machine shop. A mesh can’t be easily resized or changed.

  2. 02STEP · STL

    Model

The part rebuilt as an editable solid CAD model, using the scan as the guide.

    • Everything in Scan
    • Solid CAD rebuild from real features
    • Wear and damage removed
    • STEP and STL files
    Good for
Reprinting, changing the design, or handing to any CAD program or vendor.
    Not for
Nothing that needs a file. This is the tier most jobs need.

  3. 03STEP · STL · 3MF

    Make-ready

The CAD model adjusted for how it will be made: printed, machined, or molded.

    • Everything in Model
    • Adjusted for your process
    • Custom changes to the design
    • Print-ready files if printing
    Good for
Going straight to production, or changing the part (wider, mirrored, new mounts).
    Not for
Quick visual copies. It’s more work than a simple part needs.

    Quoted per part

Add-on for any tier: a printed part (PLA, PETG, ABS or resin). Ask in your quote request.

How close?

Tighter accuracy takes more scanning and more modeling time. Ask for the level your part actually needs.

  • Functional

    0.1–0.5 mm

The part has to fit, bolt on, or work with something else.

  • Visual

    1 mm or better

The part just has to look right.

Every part gets a fixed price before any work starts, based on its size, its shape, and the tier. Curved, organic shapes take longer to rebuild than flat, boxy ones.

Include in your email

  1. What the part is, and what it came off of
  2. Which tier you think you need (or what you’ll do with the file)
  3. Rough size, and 3–5 photos from different sides
  4. Whether it needs to fit or just look right
  5. Any deadline
